Juan Soto's Mets tenure hasn't gotten off to a perfect start.
But on Sunday, he accomplished something positive in New York he had never done before in his career.
Soto's final stats on Sunday were a 3-for-3 batting line with three walks.
It's the first time Soto has ever reached base six times in the same game, per SNY.
With the strong game, Soto raised his season OPS to .820.
All three hits on Sunday were singles. Soto also scored three runs.

It's the second time in three days that Soto had a three-hit ballgame, so he might be hitting up a little bit.
Soto is still batting just .244, but his real skill is in his on-base percentage, which is up at .384.
He has 11 homers on the season and has stolen seven bags without being caught.
There's still a decade and a half left with Soto in New York, so the Mets are likely hoping this is just the start of a hot streak that can last for the next 10 or 15 years.
It had to start somewhere for Soto, and reaching base six times in one game is a solid entry point.
