Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stands alone in NBA history.
Why? Because the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar has combined for 72 points across the first two games of the NBA Finals.
That total is the most of any player ever in his first two NBA Finals games.
SGA dropped 38 in a Game 1 loss, then came back with 34 in a Game 2 win to knot things up with the Pacers at a game apiece.
The previous record holder of this stat was Allen Iverson of the 76ers, who had scored 71 in his first two championship games, per the NBA.

Gilgeous-Alexander is doing his best to show he was a worthy choice for the NBA MVP Award. So far, so good.
He's so capable of scoring from anywhere on the floor that he's pretty much an impossible matchup.
If he keeps scoring in the mid-to-high 30s, Oklahoma City is going to be very tough to beat.
The Pacers can get hot, and they're certainly the comeback kids.
But this is one of those sequences where it looks like nobody is stopping SGA. If that continues, Indiana is in trouble.
