Mercedes Mone sends a bold message following huge loss at AEW Worlds End

Following her massive defeat at AEW Worlds End, Mercedes Mone has now addressed the loss with a bold message.

Worlds End 2025 saw a high-stakes tag team match involving the Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) defending their AEW Women's Tag Team titles against Mercedes Mone and ROH Women's World Champion Athena. The match was a stellar affair marked by back-and-forth action, but in a surprising turn of events, Nightingale secured the win for her team after rolling up the CEO. The loss marked another major pay-per-view setback for the reigning TBS champion, who had also faced defeat at the promotion's previous PLE, Full Gear.

A day after Worlds End, the CEO took to Instagram to share an image of herself from the event, accompanied by a bold message in which she deflected responsibility for her loss, stating that she just ran out of time.

"I never lost, I just ran out of time 1️⃣," Mone wrote

Following her loss at Worlds End, an angry Mone was seen storming toward her locker room backstage, ignoring All Elite Wrestling correspondent Lexy Nair's attempts to get a word in. However, a few seconds later, the CEO returned after noticing Lair's remark, stating that the reigning TBS champion has had a bad 2025. The CEO then reminded everyone of her accomplishments before issuing a challenge to Willow Nightingale for the TBS title. In the process, Mone dropped an F-bomb.

"I don't want to hear about Willow Nightingale, do you understand me? You know what, this week on Dynamite, Willow, at New Year's Smash, I'm gonna beat your f**king a**."

It will be interesting to see whether Mercedes Mone retains her TBS title against Willow Nightingale on Dynamite tomorrow night.
