After a heartbreaking loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the OKC Thunder will look to get back in the win column Monday night when they return home to host the Memphis Grizzlies. It will be the second matchup between the two teams this season. OKC won the previous meeting 114-100 on Nov. 9.
The Thunder are experiencing the ebbs and flows that come with a long NBA season. After going on a franchise-record 16-game winning streak, OKC has dropped two of its last three games, both of which came down to the wire. However, if one thing has rung true about this Thunder team all season, it’s their ability to bounce back after tough losses. They will be hungry to get back on track at home on Monday, where they are 13-0.
The Grizzlies are also looking to get back in the win column after being beaten 130-122 by the bottom Eastern Conference Washington Wizards. That loss was Memphis’ second of December, coming off a five-game winning streak.
