Maxxine Dupri officially ties the knot with current WWE star

WWE superstar, Maxxine Dupri (real name Sydney Zmrzel), officially tied the knot with NXT star, Kam Hendrix (real name Anthony Luke), on New Year's Eve, 2025. The event took place at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. They had been in a relationship since 2019 and got engaged on December 23, 2024, last year.

Several WWE stars like Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Otis, and Chelsea Green attended the event. Other big names present were former WWE stars like Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bourdeaux, Shayna Baszler, and Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder). Renowned football players like Keith Ismael and Ryan Pope also attended the event.

A lively welcome party was also held on December 30 to kick off the celebration. While speaking to People.com, Maxxine Dupri said that getting married was her childhood dream, and it was surreal that she was able to live the moment with her loved ones.

"We wanted the whole week to feel like a vacation surrounded by our loved ones — an escape from the chaos of everyday life to focus solely on celebrating our marriage," Zmrzel says, adding, "We wanted something intimate yet full of celebration — a two-day party of love with our closest family and friends." Speaking about her partner, Kam Hendrix, Maxxine Dupri said that he is the "most loyal, protective, loving, and absolutely hilarious partner" she could ever dream of.

She walked down the aisle at the event in "Yebba's Heartbreak" by Drake and YEBBA. Her hair was done by Dorka Jones and Taylor Zmrzel, respectively. Maxxine's cousin, Marine Corps Veteran Zack Zmrel, officiated the wedding as the couple exchanged vows.

"Our biggest non-negotiable was keeping the focus on what truly matters — our marriage," Zmrzel says. "We wanted to be surrounded by love, honor those who are no longer with us, and keep the bar flowing with incredible cocktails," Maxxine said.

The couple also shook their legs at the wedding reception to a mixed trio of old songs: Old Dominion's "One Man Band," Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie," and Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love."

"It’s surreal to think we’ve been together nearly seven years and now get to celebrate our marriage with the wedding of our dreams," Zmrzel says. "It’s truly euphoric — a feeling of love, gratitude, and excitement for everything ahead," Maxxine Dupri said.

The couple met in 2019 at a nightclub in South Lake Tahoe, California. They have been in a relationship since then.

Maxxine Dupri will defend her WWE Intercontinental title against Becky Lynch next week on RAW

Maxxine will defend her Intercontinental title against Becky Lynch on the first episode of Monday Night RAW of 2026. The Alpha Academy member won the title on the November 17, 2025, episode of RAW. Becky Lynch's arch-rival, AJ Lee, returned on the same night and helped Maxxine beat Lynch to win the title.

Maxxine and Becky had a verbal confrontation on this week's episode of RAW, where Becky said that she would snatch the title back from her. It remains to be seen if The Man will be able to grab the gold once again.
