Massive health update on Dominik Mysterio following injury scare - Reports

There has been an important health update on WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio following an injury scare. The Judgment Day star is the reigning Intercontinental Champion on WWE RAW and is in a storyline relationship with Liv Morgan.

Mysterio teamed up with El Grande Americano in a losing effort against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix at AAA Guerra De Titanes on December 20. The champion appeared to suffer a shoulder injury during the match, and BodySlam+ has provided an update.

According to the report, Mysterio was removed from the road following the match as the company is taking a cautious approach to avoid further injury. The report added that Mysterio was in "good spirits" following the injury scare. It is unknown if Dominik Mysterio will be making an appearance on tonight's edition of RAW.

In addition to being the Intercontinental Champion, Mysterio also holds the AAA Mega Championship. Liv Morgan missed several months due to injury earlier this year but returned at Survivor Series 2025 to help Mysterio capture the Intercontinental Championship from John Cena. Gunther defeated The Cenation Leader in his retirement match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.

Major WWE star comments on her relationship with Dominik Mysterio

The Judgment Day's Roxanne Perez recently discussed her relationship with Dominik Mysterio and claimed that she was just friends with her stablemate.

Mysterio used to be in a storyline relationship with Rhea Ripley, but he betrayed The Eradicator in favor of Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam 2024. Speaking on Going Ringside, Perez insisted that she only viewed the Intercontinental Champion as a friend and claimed that she would never get in the way of his relationship with Liv Morgan.

“Me and him [Dominik Mysterio] have always been buddies. I don’t know what people are trying to misconstrue in there, but we’re just friends... I would never get in the way of him and his güerita. I would never,” Perez added.

Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez lost the Women's Tag Team Championships to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2025. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for The Judgment Day in the weeks ahead on RAW.
