Danhausen has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since Worlds End 2023. He has not appeared on AEW TV for almost two years now. It was believed that the 35-year-old asked for his release from the company, but the Jacksonville-based promotion asked him to serve his injury time and extended his contract by February 2026. While he has been absent from the company, Dan has made numerous appearances outside the promotion.
In an Instagram post, Absolute Intense Wrestling announced Danhausen's appearance for their upcoming show in Cleveland on January 23. The show will take place at Globe Iron, and the promotion is booking the AEW star as one of the main attractions of the event in Ohio.
