After President Trump withdrew his support for Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene, he called her a "traitor." This came after the Georgia Congresswoman alleged that her persistence to release Epstein files sent the President "over the edge." A day later, the POTUS took to Truth Social and wrote:
"Marjorie “Traitor” Greene is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!"On Sunday, Greene addressed the President's remarks in an exclusive interview with CNN. Highlighting her previous support for him, Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the POTUS comment put her "life in danger."
"I stood with President Trump when almost no one else would. I campaigned for him all over this country and spent millions of my own dollars helping him get elected...That’s why being called a “traitor” isn’t just hurtful, it puts a target on my back and puts my life in danger. And it only divides our country even more," MTG tweeted. She noted that despite Trump's sharp take on her, she "still support the Trump administration." She reiterated her stance on the release of the Epstein files and said:
"I believe in transparency. That’s why I’ve pushed to release the Epstein files. Survivors deserve the truth, and I won’t apologize for standing with them."Marjorie Taylor Greene says she received a "pipe bomb threat" after Trump called her a "traitor"

"The hoax pizza deliveries have started now, to my house and my family members... Update: we also received a pipe bomb threat on my construction companies office building... She expressed her concern that such actions put "blood in the water and create a feeding frenzy," which could ultimately lead to a "harmful or even deadly outcome."
"I am not a traitor... However, when the President of the United States irresponsibly calls a Member of Congress of his own party, traitor, he is signaling what must be done to a traitor," Greene stated. On Sunday evening, the President took questions from reporters at Palm Beach airport. When one of the journalists asked the POTUS about MTG's claims about the danger to her life, Donald Trump replied:
