Shedeur Sanders got his first reps in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Sanders replaced the concussed Dillon Gabriel in the second half but failed to make a strong impact. Sanders completed four of 16 pass attempts for 47 yards and threw one interception as Cleveland lost 23-16.

The Browns led 16-10 and halftime, but couldn't score a single point in the second half. When Sanders was struggling on his Browns debut, former Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Breiden Fehoko aimed a sly dig at the rookie.

"The Baltimore Ravens are blackballing Shedeur Sanders. You’re not allowed to pick his throws off. NFL needs to be better," Fehoko tweeted on Sunday.

Fehoko played college football at LSU, where he was teammates with now-Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. The two helped the Tigers win the national championship in 2020.

Fehoko's tweet was a sarcastic one, since many were pushing for him to get reps for the Browns. Even Sanders himself was eager to play, and often suggested that he could do better than some other QBs in the NFL while he was serving as the backup to Gabriel.

Sanders played his entire collegiate career under the guidance of his father, Deion Sanders, a.k.a. Coach Prime. The QB was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in his final collegiate season at Colorado.

Many believed that Sanders would get picked in the first round of this year's NFL draft. However, he was drafted on the third and final day of the event, when the Browns took him with pick No. 144.

The Browns (2-8) will face the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday. The game will kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

The Raiders will face the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 11 game on Monday night. They are currently on a three-game losing streak.

If Gabriel is unable to recover in time to face the Raiders, Shedeur Sanders could get his first start for the Browns.
