Former WWE writer Vince Russo praises Bayley
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently praised Bayley for trying to make her gimmick work on WWE television.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo noted that the 36-year-old's split personality gimmick was very silly. However, he complimented the veteran for trying to make it work and giving the character everything she had to try to get it over with wrestling fans.
"As ridiculous as this Bayley character is going to be, as bad as this is going to be, she is really committed to the bit, and she is really trying. She went above and beyond and over the top to try to get this over. But I'm sorry. I'm watching this, and it's very, very, very silly. But she is trying to get it over. I'll give her credit for trying to get it over," Russo said.“I beg her everyday” - Bayley on Mercedes Mone returning to WWE
Sasha Banks walked out of the company alongside Naomi in 2022 due to creative differences. Naomi has since returned to the promotion and is currently on hiatus due to her pregnancy with SmackDown star Jimmy Uso. Only time will tell if Moné gets the opportunity to return to the promotion sometime down the line.
