Maisie Boesiger, Lexi Rodriguez, and others reacted to Nebraska Volleyball coach Dani Busboom Kelly being appointed as an ambassador for LOVB Nebraska. The League One Volleyball announced that coach Busboom Kelly is joining the LOVB Nebraska as an ambassador on Friday.

As she took the new role, she is expected to engage in the team's community by supporting athlete development programs and growing the volleyball ecosystem. After adding yet another feat to her remarkable coaching career, she shared her joy and excitement on Instagram, writing:

"From Nebraska. For Nebraska. I am thrilled to be an Ambassador for LOVB Nebraska.🌽💚"

Busboom Kelly also shared a video of herself interacting with the LOVB Nebraska players, including former Husker Rodriguez. In the video, she took pride in accomplishing the new feat.

"Proud to be a LOVB Nebraska ambassador," coach Busboom Kelly said.

On their coach's major achievement, the former and current Huskers expressed their love with Rodriguez writing:

"Yayyyy 🤭🤭" "Yesss👏👏👏", Maisie Boesiger wrote.

The current LOVB Omaha (Nebraska) players also conveyed their excitement as Busboom Kelly embraced the new role.

"Heard she is a Big One 😍 👏," Kimberly Drewniok penned. "Beyond Excited!! 😍," Audriana Fitzmorris chimed in.

Coach Busboom Kelly will be present at the LOVB Omaha's home-opener at the Baxter Arena on January 11, 2026, against LOVB Houston.

Nebraska Volleyball coach Dani Busboom Kelly expressed her gratitude after being named as the ambassador for the LOVB team, stating she is honored to help the community that shaped her.

“Volleyball has always been at the heart of Nebraska, and I am incredibly honored to support LOVB Nebraska as they continue building something special here,” Dani Busboom Kelly said. “This is a community that shaped me, inspired me, and believed in the power of this sport long before the rest of the country caught up. Being able to pour back into the next generation, while helping grow professional volleyball in my home state, is something I’m truly grateful for.” (via klkntv.com)

Dani Busboom Kelly played for the Nebraska team from 2003 to 2007 as a setter. She returned to the program as an assistant coach in 2012 for five seasons before moving to the Louisville Cardinals. She replaced Huskers' legendary coach John Cook in January 2025. With her return, Busboom Kelly has shown her incredible experience by leading the team to be undefeated so far in the season.
