Joe Hendry Breaks Silence After Massive WWE Drop

Joe Hendry has become one of the most popular faces in professional wrestling over the past few years. He has made a name for himself in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and WWE NXT as part of their partnership. The Scottish star broke his silence after the Stamford-based promotion dropped his first merch as their signed talent.

Hendry made his first appearance for WWE in June of last year as a representative of TNA Wrestling on an episode of NXT. Since then, he has been heavily featured on WWE's developmental show even competing for the NXT Championship several times.

He recently signed with WWE, becoming an official member of the company's roster. To commemorate this, WWE Shop released the first batch of Joe Hendry merch following his signing. The former TNA World Champion reacted to it by sharing his signature emoji of clapping hands.

Fans are excited to see how Hendry will be booked in the coming weeks now that he's officially a WWE star. It will be interesting to see what Shawn Michaels has planned for the 37-year old star.

Joe Hendry is currently feuding with Ethan Page and Chelsea Green on NXT

Hendry is currently chasing the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships with Thea Hail as his partner. The titles are currently held by the Canadian duo of Ethan Page and Chelsea Green. Page and Green are both double champions as Ethan is the NXT North American Champion while Chelsea is the Women's US Champion.

The two teams clashed at this week's edition of the NXT Gold Rush event. After an intense match, Ethan and Chelsea succesfully defended their AAA Mixed Tag Team titles with some help from Alba Fyre. The two week long special edition of NXT is set to feature stars from AAA, NXT, TNA and Evolve.

Fans are curious to see if Joe Hendry and Thea Hail will actually be able to capture the AAA Mixed Tag Team titles anytime soon.
