Los Angeles Rams could add a familiar face next to new cornerback Roger McCreary

The Rams may not be done making huge moves prior to November 4, and they could take a shot that no one expected.

The Tennessee Titans set both Jeffrey Simmons and Calvin Ridley as inactive for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

These two players, specifically being listed as active, spark a lot of questions around the Titans. They could be selling the farm.

There should be no doubt that the Rams should look at one of these two players, one that comes to mind is Calvin Ridley. Especially when Ian Rapoport wondered if he would be traded.

Sean McVay has already said he wouldn’t rule out any more trades, and if Les Snead wants to strike while the iron is hot, making a major upgrade at the spot they lost Tutu Atwell could be game-changing. How would anyone stop the Rams if they had Devonte Adams, Calvin, Ridley, and Puka Nacua?

The other idea is Simmons, and it’s not to take a shot at Poona Ford and Kobie Turner, who have both been phenomenal, but adding someone of Simmons’s caliber at this point in the season, with your defense already being so dominant, could be a Von Miller-like deal that propels the Rams to a championship.

Then Matthew Stafford can ride out into the sunset just like his best friend, Clayton Kershaw, did in the World Series.
