Kyle Tucker enjoyed a strong 2025 season. Batting .266 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs, the outfielder played a starring role in helping the Chicago Cubs qualify for the playoffs.
As he became a free agent once the campaign concluded, Tucker was expected to be one of the most sought-after players on the market. Many were of the opinion he may land a bumper long-term deal exceeding $400 million in value.
However, such an offer has not materialized yet. According to analyst and content creator Robbie Hyde, Tucker may end up signing with the LA Dodgers, following in the footsteps of Alex Bregman and Pete Alonso by settling for a more short-term contract than initially expected.

"He does so many things well" - Reds Hall of Famer explains why Kyle Tucker deserves a huge contract
On Dec. 10's episode of "MLB Tonight," Cincinnati Reds legend Sean Casey explained why he feels Kyle Tucker deserves a bumper contract.
"If I am a club, and I am looking for a guy to build around, that has great swing decisions, he's a five-tool player, he hits for damage, he does so many things well... Kyle Tucker is the guy that I would bring in for that long-term deal, and I would pay him over $400M," Casey said (Timestamp: 02:01).
