Lexi Thompson flaunts her latest hairdo styled by Florida-based hairstylist

Lexi Thompson, who lives in West Palm Beach in Florida, recently took a trip further down the state to Fort Lauderdale for a much deserved hair appointment with a local stylist.

She paid a visit to Hair Goals Salon, which is approximately an hour's drive down from her home in West Palm Beach. The 30-year-old got her hair styled by Jairo at the salon.

The LPGA Tour sensation posted a selfie of herself in a car on a rainey day in Florida thanking her hairstylist for doing a fantastic job. She captioned the Instagram Story (via Instagram @lexi):

Her hairstylist, Jairo, graduated from the Aveda Insititute in Florida. As the owner and master stylist of his own hair salon in Fort Lauderdale, he specializes in blondes, colored hair, and more.

Lexi Thompson's agency speaks on her break from social media after receiving backlash

Lexi Thompson played a round of golf with President Donald Trump over Easter weekend in 2019. Following the news going viral, she withdrew from a tournament that was around the corner and took a break from social media.

Having received backlash from fans and followers on social media for playing golf with the President, her sports agency, Blue Giraffe Sports, issued a statement on her behalf clarifying that the scrutiny she was subjected to was not the reason for her withdrawal or break from all platforms.

They clarified that the professional golfer made the decision to do so because she has been subject to a lot of 'social media abusers' throughout her career and needs the break to improve her mental health.

Lexi's decision was not based on a recent event or post, but rather from a culmination of harsh, hurtful, and unwarranted commentary from social media abusers over time. Lexi is aware that this is a constant problem for most people in the public spotlight, and she has always readily accepted that fact. Lexi is excited to compete in the LPGA Mediheal Championship this week in San Francisco and simply wanted to remove this negative variable on a temporary basis in order to focus on competing against the world's best. Any news report that a recent event or situation led to her decision is completely false and erroneous."
