On December 27, BTS' Kim Taehyung went live on Weverse. During the broadcast, the K-pop idol shared that he genuinely enjoyed having a beard, a fact many fans were already aware of. However, the final length did not align with his original expectations. This left him feeling slightly discouraged and briefly led to self-doubt. As a result, V explained that he has considered undergoing beard laser removal.
Despite this, he said, pain remains his primary concern. Those around him have warned about the intensity of the procedure and noted that it typically requires nearly seven sessions, which has made him even more hesitant. Undergoing repeated discomfort currently feels unrealistic.

I hope Tae doesn't do that, he looks more handsome with his mustache and thin beard, Tae, don't hurt yourself to fulfill the wishes of someone who doesn't like you with a mustache and beard.
Taehyung’s mustache post previously sparked fan debate
This September, Kim Taehyung shared a new Instagram post featuring a total of twenty photos. Among them, one image revealed a moustache look. Soon after, a fan reposted the picture on Weverse. Along with it, they suggested he shave it, saying,
“My suggestion is to shave the mustache.”In response, the Love Me Again singer replied almost immediately. He said the wording felt genuinely hurtful, even with laughter included.
“The way you said that, seriously ㅋㅋㅋㅋ, it hurts my feelings," the 29-year-old asserted.Not long after, the image disappeared from the upload. As a result, the carousel dropped to nineteen photos. However, screenshots had already begun circulating online. Because of that, the moment spread quickly across social platforms. Meanwhile, fans voiced strong support for his personal choices. As discussions grew, one phrase appeared repeatedly. DONTSHAVETAEHYUNG trended widely as support continued rising.
In his live, Taehyung also shared that on his way to HYBE, he was shocked and amazed to see all his birthday buses. He noticed the buses in front of the building and was surprised by the gesture. Currently, four birthday buses from fanbases are parked outside HYBE in his honor.
