No one knows how many more years LeBron James will play in the NBA.
But there's one thing the Los Angeles Lakers superstar already knows.
LeBron won't be coaching in the league once he retires.
The King clarified that on his Mind the Game podcast:
"There's no way, there's no way guys," James said. "... It ain't happening. Zero chance."
LeBron's co-host Steve Nash was quick on the trigger here, too: "Don't coach."
Nash didn't have the best NBA head coaching tenure in Brooklyn, and this pretty much confirms his feelings on that.
LeBron is one of the greatest basketball minds ever.
But by the same token, many of the all-timers don't get into coaching. There's some sense that maybe it's hard to coach players who aren't as talented as you once were.
James could do anything he wants when he retires. It's pretty much an ask and receive situation for him.
But don't plan on seeing LeBron on an NBA sideline as a head coach. He's clearly not interested.
