The NBA is launching a stricter fan code of conduct
The NBA is doing its best to protect the players, even from fans. The league wants to make sure that each game is a safe space for the players. This is why they are making fans act according to their new addition to their code of conduct.
Brett Siegel, a league insider, revealed what they anticipate from supporters going ahead.
"Any negative behavior and verbiage regarding sports betting towards players will NOT be tolerated and will immediately result in punishment, sources told @ClutchPoints," "Essentially, don't go yelling at players that they cost you money on your bets, as you will be swiftly removed and likely banned from NBA events," he added. "If you want to waste your money, go ahead, but the only person to blame if you lose is yourself."These new changes are addressed to sports betting. While betting is tolerated in the league, they want everyone to still enjoy the game.
