Coco Gauff recently sent her love to rising tennis star Alexandra Eala. As the Filipino showed off her medal haul from the SEA Games, Gauff penned a heartwarming message for her fellow WTA player.

Eala, who trains at the Rafa Nadal academy in Mallorca, made a name for herself earlier this year when she beat the likes of Jelena Ostapenko, Paula Badosa, Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek en route to the semifinals of the Miami Open. Since then, the 20-year-old has gone on to claim a runners-up finish at the Lexus Eastbourne Open and a title finish at the Guadalajara 125 Open.

Most recently, Alexandra Eala was in action at the SEA Games, where she won bronze in the team and mixed doubles event and gold in the women's singles. The Filipino shared snaps of her medal haul on Instagram and wrote,

“For the Philippines and for the Filipinos. I will go home with souvenirs in town.”

Reacting to this, Coco Gauff sent her love to the rising tennis star, commenting,

“Congratulations ❤️❤️.”

For her part, Coco Gauff enjoyed a successful 2025 season. The American kicked off her year with a quarterfinals appearance at the Australian Open before she went on to clinch the title at the French Open. She followed this up with a victory at the Wuhan Open late in the year.

Looking back on her 2025 season, Gauff reflected on the ups and downs of the year, writing on Instagram,

“It was filled with some disappointments but mainly positives and when I look back at it, I feel proud of all the things I accomplished. I love this sport and I am grateful for all of its ups and downs. Very few feelings come close to the euphoria you feel when you are living in a dream come true or a prayer come to fruition and I am eternally grateful to God for these experiences and the opportunity to feel this feeling constantly.”

Up next, Coco Gauff is scheduled to return to action in 2026 at the United Cup. The event will take place between January 2 and 11 in Perth, and Gauff will be joined by the likes of Iga Swiatek, Naomi Osaka, Emma Raducanu and Jasmine Paolini.
