According to Sports Illustrated, Knox Kiffin currently holds nine scholarship offers: namely, Arkansas State, East Carolina, Florida International, Georgia State, Murray State, Sacramento State, SMU, Western Kentucky and Washington. The Huskies are the highest-profile team to offer the promising shot caller a scholarship.
Knox's dad, Lane Kiffin, was a quarterback back in the day. He occupied the QB2 spot behind David Carr during his time with Fresno State. He has since gone on to become one of the most sought-after head coaches in football.
It's a dream for most parents to have their sons play for them. However, Kiffin will be taking great care to let his son thrive without undue pressure to feature for the LSU Tigers. He's still some years away from tearing up the collegiate level.
