The Lakers' superstar would later leave the win over the Philadelphia 76ers and never return to the contest.

While awaiting answers on the official injury diagnosis for the MVP-hopeful, Los Angeles gave the superstar a new designation for their matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.

Lakers list Luka Doncic (hamstring) as out for Saturday vs. Warriors

Doncic was originally listed as doubtful for the Lakers' matchup against the Warriors, but according to the NBA's latest injury report, he has been downgraded to out.

Los Angeles will be without a piece of their main trio of Doncic, LeBron James, and Austin Reaves for the 41st time this season.

The 26-year-old is not only the leading scorer for the Lakers, but also leads the league in points per game (32.8) so far this season and is second in assists per game (8.6). Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons is the current assist leader at 9.8 per game.

Los Angeles will also have the chance of newly-acquired sharpshooter Luke Kennard making his Laker debut.

The Lakers traded Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Kennard.
