Playing against the Miami Heat is tough because they will always play hard. However, the results do not match their desire for victories, which has led people to not rate them as high as their potential suggests.
This has impacted how people outside the Heat community view them. It includes a former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics and current broadcast analyst Brian Scalabrine. He does not think the Heat will remain consistent, which is supported by their record.
Scalabrine is not a fan of the Heat's inconsistency
The Heat have a 27-25 record, which is quite decent for most teams. However, the Heat started the season strong, so they set lofty expectations. Unfortunately, that has not happened for the Heat because they have been inconsistent.
This can be attributed to some of their players' struggles and how Erik Spoelstra is running the team. Most people will point out that Kel'el Ware deserves more minutes, especially because he is the unanimous best young player on the roster.

The Heat are much better when they are feeling confident. Of course, they also need to be a much healthier team, as All-Star guard Tyler Herro continues to struggle with injuries.
"Sometimes this Heat team looks like the best team in the NBA, and in the same game, they look like the worst team in the NBA. Very Inconsistent," Scalabrine said on the broadcast during Miami vs Boston.
It is a fair assessment of what the Heat have done this season. They have the potential to be a top team, but they need to be healthier and more assertive.
Spoelstra also should improve with his rotations because most people agree that Ware deserves minutes, but he is not getting the playing time he wants.
