There are plenty of reasons for Rams fans to be excited in 2025.

Los Angeles signed quarterback Matthew Stafford to a two-year extension this offseason, then added the best free-agent receiver in Davante Adams. They also have one of the more favorable schedules in the NFL, as the NFC West draws the AFC South this year. On top of that, Los Angeles has a very winnable slate of home games in 2025.

After nearly knocking off the Eagles in the NFC divisional round last year, the Rams have their own Super Bowl aspirations this year.

Los Angeles Rams schedule 2025

Rams strength of schedule

Since an 10-7 season in 2024 concluded, the Rams have known their opponents for the 2025 season. Los Angeles' strength of schedule for this year is purely based on the results of the 2024 season, meaning that while it is a strong indication of how hard a team's schedule will be, it won't be perfect. Some teams will improve or regress from last year.

The Rams have the 17th-most difficult schedule in 2025, based on opponent winning percentage from 2024. They play five teams that made the playoffs last season.

Toughest tests: The Lions and Rams played an incredible game in Week 1 last season, and Detroit will be a challenging opponent again this year. Road games against the defending Super Bowl champions and the Ravens are no easy tasks, either. The Texans and Bucs are two more playoff teams from last year, but the Rams at least get them at home.

Biggest breaks: The Rams also get to play against the AFC South this year, which includes the Titans and Jaguars, two teams that will likely be among the worst in football. A home game against the Saints should also be an easy win for Los Angeles.

Bottom line: The Rams have every reason to believe they can be a Super Bowl contender in 2025. Signing Adams in the offseason was huge for Stafford at this stage of his career, and Los Angeles will be in every game because they are still incredibly well-coached by Sean McVay.

The Rams also have a more favorable schedule as compared to 2024. Matchups against Tennessee, Jacksonville, Carolina, and New Orleans should be easy wins. If the Rams can at least split their six games against NFC West opponents, they should be able to pick up an extra win from last season.
