The Knicks just wrapped up arguably their best season in franchise history.
They ended a near half-century wait by lifting the NBA Finals trophy after beating the Spurs.
There was some worry they could lose a few key players from the rotation this offseason, but Knicks fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as they just inked a key player to an extension.
Knicks re-sign playoff hero from title run
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Monday that guard Landry Shamet is returning to the Knicks after agreeing to a contract extension.

The deal is reportedly worth 4 years/$24 million ($6 million AAV).
Shamet played 16.3 minutes in 19 playoff games this postseason, hitting 1.5 three-pointers and shooting 47.5 3P%.
Charania detailed that Shamet was getting interest from teams throughout the NBA ahead of free agency, but Shamet wanted to return, and the two sides were able to get a deal done before Free Agency kicked off on Tuesday.
