New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor’s wife, Katia, penned an emotional message to their daughter, Kalina, who just turned five. She took to Instagram and posted a series of images of Kalina in a white T-shirt paired with a foil-colored skirt. Behind her, a mermaid-themed "5" balloon was hanging.

The carousel features family pictures with Katia, Francisco, Kalina, Ampola, and Koa, as well as Kalina practicing ballet.

Katia wrote a caption, “My firstborn is 5 years old today. How time flies! Thank you, my beautiful Kalina, for making me a mom. What a privilege it is to accompany you at every stage, watching you grow, learn, and blossom into the wonderful little person you are.”

She also appreciates her daughter:

“You are such a patient, loving, and empathetic big sister; seeing the tenderness you care for and share with your little siblings fills my heart. There is no greater gift than having you and witnessing your light every day. 💕”

Los Angeles Dodgers player Kiké Hernandez’s wife, Mariana, also gave her greetings to Francisco Lindor's daughter, as did Mets pitcher Francisco Álvarez’s wife, Nahomi.

Mariana wrote, “Congratulations, Kalina, beautiful!” “Happy Birthday, Kalina,” wrote Nahomi.

Katia and Francisco Lindor tied the knot in December 2021 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami. In a 2023 interview with Hauteliving, Lindor said:

“Before my family—my wife and my daughter—baseball was probably 85% of my life. Now, it has shifted a little bit.”

"Carnegie Hall in NYC is one of the most famous and historic music venues of all time 🎻 Congratulations, Katia," the caption reads.

She earned a minor degree in Music at St. Mary’s University in Texas. In 2024, Katia expressed to Sportsnet,

“Music has been such an intricate part of my education and upbringing since I was little; I just can't imagine my life without it.”

Katia also played the violin on the baseball field. On September 16, she performed the National Anthem as the New York Mets played against the San Diego Padres.
