Kick CEO and co-founder Ed "Eddie" Craven has responded to allegations that streamers' payouts have been reduced. On November 12, 2025, the Australian billionaire took to X to claim that the Kick Partnership Program (KPP) had "already delivered payouts approaching $150 million" to thousands of content creators.
He then acknowledged that certain streamers were receiving lower pay from KPP due to "underlying views that aren't truly authentic."
While claiming that there "has never been a better time" to join the Kick Partnership Program, Ed Craven wrote:
"Kick Partnership Program was created in 2024 as a way to give streamers a real baseline income, funded entirely out of Kick's pocket and not tied to ads or subs. It is built to give creators stability and has already delivered payouts approaching $150M to 1,000's of creators. After rebuilding our view count system, removing almost 1,000 abusers, correcting inflated views, and nuking millions of bot accounts, the program is in a healthier spot than ever. Payouts are only reduced when underlying views aren't truly authentic. There has never been a better time to join KPP, recovered funds will always be redirected to creators with earned audiences and communities 💚"Kick Partnership Program was created in 2024 as a way to give streamers a real baseline income, funded entirely out of Kick's pocket and not tied to ads or subs. It is built to give creators stability and has already delivered payouts approaching $150M to 1,000's of creators.
Adin Ross says Kick should "redo its outdated" partnership program, claims "there is no incentive" for viewers to subscribe to streamers
Adin Ross has responded to Ed Craven's post about Kick's reduced payouts for certain streamers. Expressing his opinion that the livestreaming platform should "redo its outdated" partnership program, Adin Ross claimed that "there is no incentive" for viewers to subscribe to streamers.
Furthermore, the Florida native claimed that "everything is botted and inflated":
"You guys need to redo your outdated KPP then. There is no Incentive to subscribe to a streamer on kick , therefore KPP is needed for kick streamers to feel incentives. You “fixing” the KPP , removing bots is cool and all but it doesn’t really matter and everything is still botted. Everything is botted and inflated , and everyone knows it. It’s 2025 twitch is the same way too ppl spam ads on twitch to bots and get paid."Adin Ross went on to question why new streamers would prefer Kick over Twitch, adding that the gambling platform, Stake, should not "correlate" with the livestreaming platform:
"And kick of course. If I can make more money on twitch , get the mainstream eyes , why would new streamers choose kick over twitch then? I I don’t think stake should ever correlate with kick, which I get why it does but it shouldn’t. Kick has the potential to be number one, but it needs to stay consistent and have a fair system in place for the streamers who try."Additionally, Adin Ross hosted a livestream on November 12, 2025, during which he accused Ed Craven of "supplying" viewbots and of allegedly saying that he could manipulate streamers' viewership to "whatever the f**k he wanted."
