The Cape Buffalo has two variations of the same ability, which is quite atypical for a Pet of its rarity. With its ability, it gives all harvested Fruits a 10% chance to be duplicated. Effectively, this doubles the value of the harvest and lets you earn twice as much money, provided the ability activates.

Its ability variation triggers specifically for Safari-type Fruits, which receive a 15% chance instead. While the difference in the odds may not seem particularly high, it can make a significant impact if you have high-rarity Safari-type plants on the farm. If your farm has an abundance of Safari-type Plants, the Cape Buffalo can be a game-changer for increasing its value.

The Cape Buffalo is included in the Safari Shop stock as a purchasable Pet, but as of this writing, it cannot be purchased with Sheckles. To unlock the ability to buy it, the Safari Harvest Event goal of 195 billion Global Safari Points has to be met. This is a community effort where all players submit the specified Fruit at the event stand to raise the Global Point count.

You can still buy it for Robux, should you wish to add the Cape Buffalo to your roster immediately. It is priced at 399 Robux, which is fairly high for its rarity. So, it may be prudent to wait for the community goal to be reached before adding the Buffalo to your Pet collection.
