Kevin Nash says Vince McMahon gave WWE legend a "horrible time" following illness

Kevin Nash was one of the most fundamental figures in professional wrestling during the Monday Night Wars in the late 90s. He recently opened up about how former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon gave a WWE Legend a very hard time in the company. The Legend he was referring to is former WWE and AEW Commentator Jim Ross.

Former Tag Team Champion and WWE Legend Matt Hardy had recently made some serious allegations regarding Vince stating that he enjoyed putting his employees in uncomfortable situations and named Jim Ross as one of them. On the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash supported the claims made by Matt Hardy and shed further light on the issue.

Kevin Nash said that Vince gave Jim a very hard time for his Bell's Palsy which is a condition where the person's face gets partially paralysed. Nash clarified that Vince didn't treat him the same way but it happened with a lot of other employees in the company.

“Vince is not going to get a Humanitarian of the Year Award anytime soon; He gave JR a horrible time when JR had that Bell’s palsy,” He said. [H:T/WrestlingNews]

A lot of such statements regarding Vince McMahon's behaviour with the company's talent have come out in the recent years.

Kevin Nash recently asked CM Punk to retire

During the same episode, Kevin Nash also reflected on CM Punk's recent performances. He said that it's not fitting for a World Champion to wrestle in a tshirt and called out Punk for the same.

"I watched Punk in the main event of that match last Monday, the tag team match. Number one, if you’re the WWE Heavyweight Champion and you wrestle in a t-shirt, ouch. Number two, his punches looked really slow. He looked slow. I think it’s time for him. I think he’s done," Nash said.

Punk replied to Nash's taunt by actually wrestling in a tshirt again at a live event. It will be interesting to see if Punk can successfully defend his title against Bron Breakker on the upcoming episode of RAW.
