The New York Knicks got a massive victory against the Boston Celtics on Thursday. It was a fantastic result for the Knicks as they are heading into the Playoffs with some solid momentum.
A player who stood out on Thursday was Josh Hart, who scored a game-high 26 points. That included five three-pointers with a clutch shot that helped them win the game against a fellow contender.
Karl-Anthony Towns celebrates Josh Hart's growth as a clutch shooter
Towns has been one of the most impressive shooters in recent history. As a center, most people would count him out because he is a physical player who can thrive in the post.
That is not the case with Towns because he can do almost everything on the offensive side of the ball. He is a three-point shooter, and his teammates are following suit, including Hart.

Throughout his career, Hart was never the knockdown shooter. He was not like Klay Thompson or Kon Knueppel, as he thrives in transition with his ability to go downhill as a play-finisher.
This season, he has earned a solid reputation for being a reliable shooter. Moving forward, Hart will be a threat and a player that scouting reports will have to consider. Towns himself showed appreciation for his teammates' progress.
"What a shot. The heartbreaker comes through. The first one was special because he had a wide-open one and then turned that one. He shot the contested one and made that one. He felt good after the first one, no hesitation on the second," Towns said after the game about Hart's shooting.
"He's a special player. He does so much for our team that does not show up in the stat sheet, but in the moment, he can do those things, and we trust him."
As the Knicks continue to stand out ahead of the Playoffs, they will be a dangerous matchup for any team. If they can maintain their potent offense, teams will struggle to guard them when they are making shots from everywhere.
