Justin Bieber turns heads with $20K accessory at World Cup Final halftime

On Sunday, Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time at New York New Jersey Stadium to secure their second World Cup title. Substitute Ferran Torres scored the game-winner and his first goal of the campaign in the 106th minute. 

The match also featured FIFA's historic, first-ever Super Bowl-style halftime show co-headlined by Shakira, Madonna, BTS, Burna Boy and Justin Bieber, who went viral for his $20,000 diamond earrings.

Bieber performed with his grounded acoustic set during the 11-minute halftime show. However, viewers were caught off guard when they spotted a pair of luxury diamond earrings on his ears. 

According to PEOPLE, the Logan Hollowell Reverse Water Drop Pave Diamond Studs cost $19,795 and feature about 2.46 carats of white diamonds set in gold. 

Coming right between high-energy sets from BTS and Shakira, Bieber slowed the stadium down by singing "Everything Hallelujah" from his 2025 album SWAG II. He added a custom "World Cup Hallelujah" line at the end of the song.

After the show, paparazzi caught the two-time Grammy winner out in New York City with his wife. He wore a casual outfit -- a white hooded jacket with green accents, a green T-shirt, black pants, white sneakers and sunglasses -- paired with the $20K diamond accessories. Hailey matched his vibe by wearing a vintage red silk John Galliano for Dior minidress with black lace detailing. 

However, his unexpected acoustic choice confused many fans who expected an uptempo hit, but it caused the track's global streams to spike by 240 percent on Spotify right after the game. 

Bieber has not announced a follow-up album to SWAG II. He plans to skip a massive world tour to focus on selective, single-city spot dates instead. However, his next major performance is already drawing attention. 

During his Coachella sets earlier this year, Bieber teased the Super Bowl LXI logo on the venue screens, strongly hinting that he will headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show in Los Angeles next.
