Shedeur Sanders, coming off his worst game as a starter, is somehow eligible for a major accomplishment in his rookie season.

On Monday, a day after throwing three interceptions and eating five sacks in a 31-3 loss at the Chicago Bears, the Cleveland Browns quarterback made the Top 10 in the positional polls for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games:

And it immediately led to fan ridicule and outrage:

Of the list, besides Sanders, two players have never made a Pro Bowl: NFC North rivals Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears) and Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers). More notably, Patrick Mahomes sits at No. 5 despite having suffered a season-ending ACL during the Kansas City Chiefs' 16-13 loss to the Chargers.

The final Pro Bowl rosters will be revealed in January. The event itself will be held in February.

Shedeur Sanders gets support amid calls for Browns rookie QB to be benched after struggles vs. Bears

While Kevin Stefanski has already assured that Shedeur Sanders will remain the Brown's starter for the rest of the 2025 season, his performance against the Bears had fans calling for Dillon Gabriel's return. But he did find a few supporters in the aftermath of that game.

First was his rookie teammate Harold Fannin Jr. As recounted by the Chronicle-Telegram's Scott Petrak, the tight end wanted to be "more decisive" when running routes, thus giving his passer a cleaner view of the field.

Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. said he has things he wants to clean up after Bears loss. Said he can be more decisive in routes, give Shedeur Sanders a cleaner picture.

Then, there was Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot, who said on 92.3 The Fan:

"I just have a feeling that they're going to analyze the whole thing and decide they want to move forward with him. I can't say for sure yet, but it sort of has that vibe. Feels like it's almost kind of trending in that direction."

And finally, there was Hall of Famer Kurt Warner. In contrast to the worries that he gave about Caleb Williams' accuracy, he preached patience and positivity for Sanders during his own 92.3 The Fan appearance:

"I felt like he played really tentative, didn't play confident in terms of dropping back and knowing where eyes and feet should be. You've seen some good things... there's got to be some optimism."

The Browns will return to Huntington Bank Field against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Kickoff is at 1 pm ET on CBS.
