Jordon Hudson uses Valentine's Day post of Bill Belichick to take another Hall of Fame jab

One week after subtly trolling Robert Kraft with a custom T-shirt before the Super Bowl, Jordon Hudson appeared to deliver another carefully crafted message. This time wrapped in Valentine’s Day red.

Hudson, the girlfriend of Bill Belichick, resurfaced a past Valentine’s post featuring the couple dressed in dark red, with Belichick wearing his NFL 100 jacket. On the surface, the caption seemed heartfelt: “Let’s take a deeper dive into the hot topic of the day… ‘LOVE.’”

But those paying attention noticed the timing. Hudson followed by posing philosophical questions: What constitutes love? What makes someone worthy of loving?

While the message read as a reflection on their relationship, it arrived just days after Belichick missed being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The legendary coach received 39 votes, which was one shy of the 40 required for enshrinement.

Was the this a coincidence? Maybe. Subtle commentary by Hudson? Also possible.

Belichick was honored as part of the NFL’s 100 Greatest team while still coaching in New England, yet now finds himself on the outside looking in at Canton. For some observers, Hudson’s post hinted at a broader question: Where is the love for one of the most decorated coaches in league history?

If recent history is any indicator, Hudson has developed a knack for understated jabs. The layered messaging mirrors last week’s T-shirt moment and reinforces her reputation for pushing buttons without ever saying the quiet part out loud.

Belichick will be in Canton one day

However, Belichick’s career hardly needs defending. Across 24 seasons with the New England Patriots, he compiled a 302-165 regular-season record and a 31-13 postseason mark. His teams won six Super Bowls, and he added two more rings as defensive coordinator of the New York Giants. His 347 total victories trail only Don Shula all-time.

Now entering his second season at North Carolina Tar Heels football, the 73-year-old coach will have to wait at least another year for Hall of Fame consideration. He won't be a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer, but the honor surely won't pass him up.

Hudson, 24, has remained a visible presence in Chapel Hill, frequently attending games and supporting Belichick amid public scrutiny over their 49-year age difference.

Whether intentional or not, her Valentine’s message ensured one thing: the Hall of Fame snub and the conversation around it isn’t going away quietly.
