Aaron Judge is looking at a potentially hectic spring.

The New York Yankees' captain is also going to be representing Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.

Add to that a return from an injury-plagued second half of the season, and there's plenty to be worked out.

The Yanks believe they have a solid plan in place.

Manager Aaron Boone told reporters Sunday that the Yankees want Judge to play in either four or five of their first nine spring games before he heads off to join the United States.

Judge dealt with a right flexor strain last season, but Boone said that his captain is a "full go" for full-squad workouts this week.

Despite the injury, Judge had a historic season. He held off Cal Raleigh to win the AL MVP Award.

The Yanks didn't change up much with their roster this offseason at all, so they're really just hoping on continued top-notch performances from their best players. No player is more important in the Bronx than Judge.

At least all the reports are positive. It appears he's healthy, and it seems like the Yankees are ready to let him go and play for Team USA and try to take the WBC title back for the U.S.

There's no telling how the early high-intensity games might impact Judge's season as a whole, but it has the potential to be a special March for Judge in addition to another special season once he's back in pinstripes.
