A heartwarming video now making the rounds on social media shows Leanna surprising Jacksonville Jaguars two-way star Travis Hunter with a new family member just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Not a pregnancy announcement. A puppy.
In the clip, originally shared to social media and now widely circulating online, Leanna reveals she had quietly placed a deposit on a 12-week-old Cane Corso months ago, despite initially resisting the idea.
“He’s been asking me for a Cane Corso puppy for like probably a year and a half,” she said of the former Colorado Buffaloes’ great. “I’ve always like no, like no, no, no. I’m not like a big dog person. I’m like a cat person.”

Recently, the timing became almost too perfect.
“It’s so crazy because the last two weeks he’s been asking me for a dog nonstop for his birthday in May, but I had already placed a deposit on the dog,” she said. “So I’m like, this works out perfectly.”

The moment carries extra context. Hunter has openly hoped for baby number two. Leanna has shared she is not ready for that yet. So this Valentine’s Day, the compromise arrived with paws and a powerful frame.

The puppy, a girl already “huge” at 12 weeks, was delivered bright and early. When Hunter realizes what’s happening, his eyes light up instantly. The reaction is unfiltered. Pure joy before he even finds words.
For Leanna, there’s another layer. Their home has been filled with boys. “It’s him, our son, our boy dog and our boy cat,” she said. “So it’s going to be like another girl. So, I’m actually excited about that.”
