Jordi Fernandez responds to Cam Thomas' intense comments about the Brooklyn Nets

Cam Thomas is now with the Milwaukee Bucks after playing his first few seasons in the NBA with the Brooklyn Nets. Ultimately, it was a productive stint with the Nets, but they wanted to go in a different direction.

Thomas disliked how he was treated in Brooklyn. He knew he was capable of doing more, but the Nets wanted to move in a different direction. He made comments that drew plenty of attention, as he said the Nets did not believe in anyone.

Fernandez replies to Thomas' exposing of the Nets' treatment of players

As an explosive scorer, Thomas became one of the players to look out for. The Nets were always struggling, but Thomas was always a problem for opponent teams' defenders.

He is the textbook definition of a pure scorer, which made it hard to match up against him. Unfortunately for Thomas, that kind of role is not the priority nowadays, which left him in limbo while in Brooklyn.

This led to him making comments about the Nets organization and how they did not believe in him. It was an honest comment made after an ugly divorce between the player and the team.

Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez gracefully responded to Thomas, as he made sure not to put his former player down.

"We wish Cam the best. We loved him while he was here. We hope that he does very well where he is. I don’t know if he has the right to speak about others. We’re happy with the guys we have here. I believe that everybody here can help us with what we have planned," Fernandez said about Thomas' comments.

Moving forward, the Nets will continue to build toward the future. They have some promising players on the roster, headlined by Egor Demin.

On the other hand, Thomas will still have a career in the league, whether that's in Milwaukee or any other team.
