Is the New Pixar ‘Hoppers’ Movie Streaming on Netflix or Disney+?

Hoppers, the new Disney Pixar movie, is hopping into movie theaters this weekend, and thank god for that. I think we could all use some adorable talking animals and some emotional Pixar morality right about now.

Directed by Daniel Chong, with a screenplay written by Jesse Andrews, Hoppers explores a concept that I, personally, was obsessed with as a child: What if we could see through the eyes of an animal? Teenager Mabel Tanaka (voiced by Piper Curda) has a special connection to the natural world—so special, in fact, that when she discovers there’s a technology that allows her mind to inhabit the robotic body of a life-like beaver, she jumps at the chance. Through this technology, she’s able to communicate with the beaver community and live among them. Truly, this was my 9-year-old self’s dream.

Other voice actors in the Hoppers cast include Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, and Dave Franco. While Pixar has a been a bit hit or miss in recent years, Hoppers has been reviewed positively by critics. Where to watch the Hoppers movie:

Right now, the only place to watch the new Disney Pixar movie Hoppers is in a movie theater, when the movie opens in theaters on Friday, March 6. You can find a showing at a movie theater near you via Fandango.

Is  Hoppers streaming on Netflix?

The Hoppers movie is not streaming on Netflix, and most likely will never be streaming on Netflix. This is due to the fact that  Hoppers is a Disney Pixar movie and will have a streaming home on the Disney-owned streamer, Disney+.

Disney+ offers a number of subscription options, so you can find the one that works for you. With ads, a subscription costs $10.99/month; without ads, it’s $18.99/month or $189.99/year.

There are also Disney+ bundles with Hulu, Max, and ESPN+, so you can subscribe to up to three services at once and save over 40% every month. The bundles are available in a few different configurations, starting at $12.99/month for Disney+ and Hulu with ads, and going up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max ad-free.

Is the Hoppers movie streaming on Disney Plus?

Hoppers is not yet streaming on Disney+. Right now, the movie is only playing in theaters. That said, we do expect to see Hoppers streaming on Disney+ eventually. While a Hoppers Disney+ release date has not yet been announced, we can make an educated guess as to when the movie will be streaming based on previous Disney releases.

One recent Disney movie, Zootopia 2, was released on premium video-on-demand about two months after opening in theaters, and will begin streaming on Disney+ next week, a little over three months after opening in theaters. If Hoppers follows a similar release strategy, you may see Hoppers on digital platforms around early May 2026, and streaming on Disney+ around June 2026.

But this is all speculation. If you want to watch the new Hoppers movie ASAP, you can catch the movie in theaters.
