JJ Redick called out Adam Silver's office after the Lakers suffered a 103-88 loss to the Clippers on Saturday. The hometown rivalry got intense as both teams played a physical game, with the referees being lenient in their calls.

Redick vented out his frustrations in a fiery rant during a postgame interview. The LA head coach accused the NBA commissioner's office of not reaching out to him despite multiple attempts from his side.

"The consistency needs to be addressed; that needs to be addressed. And it will be. Like that’s, I think if any coach, any player, what we ask for is consistency," he said.

"We need to know what it is night to night. We’ve had a number… And this is where I get frustrated a little bit and I keep asking the league to please reach out to me and respond every time I do the coach’s feedback thing. I don’t get any response from the league. Nobody ever reaches out to me."

JJ Redick on the refs: "The consistency needs to be addressed. ... I keep asking the league to please reach out to me and respond. ... I don't get any response from the league. Nobody reaches out to me. ... The definitions just get changed every single night."

The Lakers went to the free throw line 23 times, while the Clippers visited the charity line 20 times. Kawhi Leonard had the most fouls called in his favour as he went 12 on 12 from the spot.

The Klaw delivered a two-way performance worthy of his name. He scored 32 points, collected 12 rebounds, dished out three assists, made three steals and had two successful blocks, while shooting 8 of 24 from the field and 4 of 12 from the 3-point range.

The Lakers (19-8) are in fourth place in the West standings, while the Clippers (7-21) are in 13th.

LeBron James agrees with JJ Redick's rant on inconsistent officiating

LeBron James agreed with his coach JJ Redick's rant on inconsistent standards of coaching in the league. The Lakers superstar was asked for his thoughts on the refereeing in Saturday's game in a postgame interview.

"I have no idea where the consistency is,” James said. “There isn’t consistency. It is what it is."

JJ Redick's frustrations stemmed from the inconsistent results of the replay system. During the third quarter, James Harden drove with the ball, and Marcus Smart positioned himself in his way to draw a charge.

However, as Harden and Smart made contact, the ball got deflected and hit Jake LaRavia before going out of bounds. The Lakers' head coach challenged the out-of-bounds call in hopes of turning it over because of a potential charge from Harden.

The officials negated JJ Redick's challenge, stating that Jake LaRavia wasn't involved in the defense and had nothing to do with the potential charge.
