Joe Gibbs Racing has just signed a three-race partnership with Columbia Bank with Chase Briscoe as the driver of its No. 19 Toyota. Columbia Bank will serve as the primary sponsor for Briscoe in these three races, with the first one being on March 1 at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).
Columbia Bank will be back on Briscoe’s car for the June 28 race at Sonoma Raceway and wrap up its 2026 Cup campaign with Phoenix on October 18. Joe Gibbs Racing on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted about the same only hours ago.
The post read,
“JGR has signed a multi-year agreement with @Columbia_Bank to sponsor @chasebriscoe 's No. 19 Toyota Camry in three races in 2026. The No. 19 will sport the Columbia Bank blue and white at Circuit of the Americas on March 1, Sonoma Raceway on June 28, and Phoenix Raceway on October 18.”Chase Briscoe felt honored to represent the financial institution, which, as per the latest news, will soon be obtaining the title of 'Official Banking Partner of Joe Gibbs Racing.’ In a statement, the Mitchell, Indiana, native said,
“I am honored to represent Columbia Bank on the track in 2026. They have three fun tracks on the schedule, and I am looking forward to a successful racing season.”Chase Briscoe finished his 2025 season with three wins, 15 top fives, and 19 top 10s. Despite 2025 being his maiden year with Joe Gibbs Racing, Briscoe made the coveted Championship 4 with a victory at Talladega. The 30-year-old ended up placing third in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings.
Next up for Briscoe is the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. Scheduled for February 1, the 200-lap event will be televised on FOX with live radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, starting from 8 pm ET onwards.
“Pretty much did all of them”- Chase Briscoe recalls setting up goals with his crew chief ahead of stellar first season with JGR
Chase Briscoe recalled sitting down with his crew chief, James Small, at the start of the year and setting up goals for the 2025 season. Briscoe, who had only two career triumphs at the time, was shocked when he learned what was expected of him.
Briscoe revealed that Small wanted at least 15 top fives and 800 laps led when the season ended. The No. 19 team managed to capture exactly 15 top fives, with Briscoe leading a total of 884 laps.
“James and I sat down at the start of the year and he showed me all these goals,” Chase Briscoe said, “And I was like ‘man, I have only two career wins and you expect me to do this’ and we pretty much did all of them.” “He wanted four wins and we came up short on that one, but overall, like everything he thought we were capable of in our first year, we pretty much did it,” he added.Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson won the championship, finishing third at Phoenix, the highest of all championship contenders. Briscoe, on the other hand, finished 18th. The highest-finishing driver from the JGR camp that day was Denny Hamlin (P6).
