The New York Jets have had a busy offseason, as they've hired a new head coach (Aaron Glenn) and general manager (Darren Mougey) while moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and replacing him with former first-round pick Justin Fields.
Now, over a month into the new league year, the Jets are set to participate in the 2025 NFL draft starting Thursday night. They currently hold the seventh pick in the first round and could go a few directions to improve their roster by adding a talented, young prospect at one of several positions of need.
Over the last few months, we've seen plenty of experts complete mock drafts projecting which of these prospects will play where in 2025, including some of the most knowledgeable analysts and reporters in the league.
Before the draft kicks off, let's take one last look at who experts predict will end up in a Jets jersey in the first round.
Jets NFL mock drafts 2025
Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN: OT Armand Membou, Missouri

Kiper Jr.: "Membou is powerful and quick, and he started 30 games at right tackle in college. It would make a lot of sense for the Jets to pop him into the lineup there, with 2024 first-rounder Olu Fashanu manning the left side. They signed quarterback Justin Fields, who has the league's second-highest sack rate since being drafted in 2021 (10.5%). For this to work, the offensive line has to be good.
I considered Penn State tight end Tyler Warren here. He can line up all over the offense and give Fields a reliable outlet when the pressure does come. Once the ball is in his hands, he'd pick up chunks of yardage. But I don't think New York is going to ignore the O-line."
Dane Brugler, The Athletic: OT Armand Membou, Missouri
Brugler: "Right tackle is arguably the Jets’ top need entering the draft, so Membou is a natural fit. Pairing him with Olu Fashanu for the foreseeable future would give the Jets one of the league’s best young tackle tandems."
Peter Schrager, ESPN: TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
Schrager: "I've been hearing Warren to the Jets for a few weeks. This might seem early for a tight end, but in this draft -- teams should just take their guy where they can get him. In Warren's case, the new regime can turn to its owner, fans and locker room, and say, 'This is what we are about.'"
Todd McShay, The McShay Report: EDGE Jalon Walker, Georgia
McShay: "New head coach Aaron Glenn wants an elite defense, so Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron might be in play for a unit that ranked tied for 26th in interceptions last season. But you can’t have enough pass rushers. Just look at what happened to the Lions, Glenn’s previous team, when Aidan Hutchinson went down. Walker’s positional versatility will keep him on the field a lot more than he would be as a pure edge. Plus, he’s an A+ football character guy. Glenn wants full buy-in. Walker will give it."
Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: EDGE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
Iyer: "The Jets love breakout sack artist Will McDonald for the new defense of Aaron Glenn and Steve Wilks, but Jermaine Johnson has been disappointing. Stewart would give them pass-rush production and an ace against the run."
Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com: OT Armand Membou, Missouri
Jeremiah: "I think this pick comes down to Membou versus Penn State TE Tyler Warren for new GM Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn. They choose Membou, who slides into the right tackle spot as potentially the final piece to the Jets’ offensive line overhaul of the last few years."
