The New York Jets may have just revealed their plans for Justin Fields.
Of course, we all know Fields will be the Jets' starting quarterback after his two-year, $40 million contract in free agency.
But there's more.
The Jets were one of 10 teams to vote to keep the tush push in the recent NFL vote.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio suggests that's because they plan to use the specialized quarterback sneak play with Fields.
ESPN's stats show that Fields has gotten the chance to run the pushing sneak 12 times in his NFL career. On 11 of those, he got first downs.

It makes sense that if Fields is your for-sure quarterback, you'd figure out the best ways to utilize all of his dual-threat talents.
Most of Fields' rushing is pictured as the open-field brilliance. But he can get the job done in short-yardage spots, too. The Steelers actually had a special sub package for him late in 2024 that was just for Fields to pick up short gains.
The Jets will want both the short and long gains from Fields, via both his legs and his arms.
If he can add those easy conversions on short-yardage downs, the Jets will keep the ball moving and allow him to make big plays, too.
