Anyone with Jayden Daniels on their fantasy football team saw the injury last Sunday night and probably figured that was that.
Daniels' left arm bent at an unnatural angle. Trainers surrounded the Commanders' QB immediately, and his arm was placed in an air cast.
There are much bigger things than fantasy sports, but in the fantasy football realm, Daniels' injury looked like one that could ruin the season of any team that had him as QB1.
Except the tune has changed a bit. Daniels may not be out for as long as it would've initially been assumed.
The injury was deemed a dislocated elbow.

Reports on Friday indicated that MRI scans showed there is no ligament damage.
The Commanders haven't even placed Daniels on Injured Reserve, which would come with a mandatory four-game absence.
All of a sudden, there's at least speculation that Daniels could return after missing only a few games.
That could depend a lot on the Commanders getting a bit closer into the playoff picture with Marcus Mariota at the helm in the meantime. They wouldn't bring Daniels back to a lost cause.
But fantasy managers who have Daniels shouldn't get rid of him. Use IR spots in your league if you have them.
He's the type of player who could win you your league with a few massive weeks at the right time, so don't discard Daniels if you don't have to.
