The Philadelphia 76ers are slowly getting healthier.
But they're still without Paul George, and they're still without Jared McCain.
McCain might be the most bummer of an absence, given how promising he was to begin his rookie season before a season-ending injury, and he hasn't gotten to begin his second season yet.
The news is getting good for McCain, though, and he'll likely be back soon.

When is Jared McCain coming back?
Jared McCain got a big update Thursday. He was a full participant at Thursday's practice, signaling a return sooner rather than later.
Head coach Nick Nurse told reporters that McCain's conditioning was "in a good place" and that he looked pretty good.
Nurse wouldn't share with reporters an estimate on an official return timeline for McCain.

McCain is actually on a different injury than the one that ended his rookie season. That was a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Now, he's out with a torn ligament in his right thumb which he sustained in September.
McCain averaged 15.3 points per game before his rookie season was ended after 23 games.
The 'Sixers have gotten great performances from Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe in the backcourt. When McCain gets back, it could get crowded. But it'll be a good problem to have, and it might be coming soon.
