Even going six rounds with Anthony Joshua in the ring and getting his jaw broken in the process doesn't seem to have legitimized Jake Paul's boxing career. Amid accusations that the 'AJ' fight was rigged, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) co-founder Nakisa Badarian has confirmed that they will be taking legal action against detractors.
While Paul has compiled a professional boxing record of 12-2 since 2020, many believe he has largely faced opponents past their prime, carefully selected to grant him an easy win.
Additionally, some within the combat sports world have accused the social media star of rigging his fights - claims that gained further traction after his decision win against Mike Tyson.
Paul has previously threatened legal action after British journalist Piers Morgan insinuated that his fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was scripted. Now, Badarian has confirmed MVP's legal team is preparing to take action against individuals allegedly slandering the Joshua fight.

During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, he said:
"Our lawyers are actively going after a number of people, one who claims to be a lawyer himself online… it was a post that had around 200k likes. Basically, the post said there was an agreement for AJ not to knock out Jake, but AJ disregarded the agreement and decided to not get his payday but knock out Jake Paul. It’s pretty, pretty astonishing what people will say."Check out Jake Paul's business partner Nakisa Badarian's comments below:
Furthermore, Badarian went on record proclaiming that none of Paul's fights have ever been fixed, adding that team MVP always upheld the highest professional standards in all of his bouts.
Nakisa Badarian makes bold claim about Jake Paul's loss to Anthony Joshua
After using lateral movement and well-timed clinches to disrupt Anthony Joshua's rhythm in the early rounds, Jake Paul's cardio seemingly started to give out by the fifth round, enabling 'AJ' to cut the ring off on his opponent and finish him in the sixth round.
Paul's business partner, Nakisa Badarian, however, believes that there wasn't a gargantuan skill discrepancy between the two, and it was the former two-time heavyweight champion's larger frame that really made the difference. Speaking at the post-fight press conference, Badarian said:
"The reality is, Jake lost because of the size difference, not because of the skill difference. 'AJ' was hanging on that neck, pushing him down, and when you have someone that heavy constantly doing that, it does suck the energy out of you. 'AJ' talked about taking out the man's soul. He didn't take out his soul. He did take out his energy, and that's when he was able to get the finish."Why did you not like this content?
