There's been plenty of change of late in Josh Allen's life. He has a daughter, for one, and on Thursday, he celebrates his 30th birthday.
With the move into a new decade comes a positive omen for the Buffalo Bills, though, thanks to Jim Kelly.
Kelly turned 30 in 1990. That was the year he led the Bills to their first Super Bowl appearance with him playing QB.
Could Allen do the same?

It's not a perfect statistic, because Kelly hadn't played in the NFL as long by the time he turned 30. He started his professional career with two seasons with the USFL's Houston Gamblers, so it didn't take him as long as this would be for Allen to reach the big game.
By the same token, QB experience comes with years, regardless of what league a guy is playing in, so Allen should only continue to get wiser.
Allen does rely on his legs and mobility a lot, and it's not clear how well that will age, but it seems he should remain one of the top quarterbacks in football for at least a handful more years before a real decline conceptually could set in.
The Bills have gotten close, and their shortcomings haven't always been Allen's fault.
This offseason, they've changed up the coaching staff, and they've added receiver help.
It's time for Allen to deliver Buffalo to the biggest stage.
