Keeper-batter Ishan Kishan has returned to the Indian team for the 2026 T20 World Cup, which is all set to take place in February-March. The southpaw has replaced Shubman Gill in the 15-member squad. Gill was the vice-captain of the Indian team that beat South Africa 3-1 in the home T20Is recently. However, he has been dropped for the ICC event over poor form.
