The New York Jets are hoping to get wide receiver Garrett Wilson back for the Week 10 game against the Cleveland Browns.
Wilson has missed each of the past two games with a hyperextended knee injury he suffered in Week 6, but he did have a bye last week, so the hope is the week off was enough to get him right and back on the field this week.
Wilson was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before turning in a full practice on Friday and receiving a questionable tag. The fact that Wilson was able to log a full session suggests he'll suit up.
But the questionable tag still leaves some doubt. Here's what we know about Wilson's chances of playing in Week 10.
Is Garrett Wilson playing today?
Based on a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wilson is expected to play in Week 10 against the Browns.
"Jets WR Garrett Wilson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury that sidelined him the past two games, is expected to play vs. the Browns, per source," Schefter reported on Saturday night.
Garrett Wilson start or sit advice
In terms of fantasy points per game, Wilson ranks as WR8, which is surprising considering the ineptitude the Jets' offense has seen in the passing attack this season. That ranking makes Wilson an every-week starter.
The Browns have a good defense, but the unit is also ceding the 13th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, so this matchup doesn't really scare us.
Wilson remains a solid starting option in Week 10.
