The Winter Olympics is missing something: dogs.

Everything is made better with dogs, right? Sledding certainly is, particularly in the famed Iditarod race.

And as these 2026 Games in Milan have gone on, fans have begun to head to Google and ask one particular question.

Where's the dog sledding?

Is dog sledding an Olympic sport?

No, sadly, dog sledding is not an Olympic sport.

But it should be.

The Winter Olympics don't have any sports that include animals. The Summer Olympics do have equestrian events.

Dogs in the Winter Olympics

Yes, this would be fun.

The best part would be that fans wouldn't necessarily have a favorite human competitor. Rather, they'd have a favorite dog.

There would be famed dogs, memed dogs and much more.

Someone should suggest this. Give those stellar Iditarod riders a chance to shine on a global stage. 

And bring the dogs. No one would complain about that.
