Before the main event on Sunday, attendees can enjoy entertainment during All-Star Saturday Night.

The State Farm 3-Point Contest features five talented 2026 NBA All-Stars: Devin Booker, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, and Norman Powell.

It is also noteworthy that two former champions are competing again: Booker, the 2018 winner, and two-time champion Damian Lillard, who won in 2023 and 2024.

Lillard will surprise everyone by returning to the court to secure his third 3-point title on Saturday night. He aims to become the third player in NBA history to win three 3-Point Contests, joining Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.

NBA All-Star Saturday night will start at 5 p.m. with the 3-Point Contest from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest format

The eight participants in the 3-Point Contest will shoot from five standard spots along the arc, using four racks of four regular balls (each worth one point) and one rack of five money balls (each worth two points). Additionally, there is a special rack with five money balls. Participants can select their preferred spots for the money ball racks.

In the two-round format, players aim to score as many points as possible from multiple 3-point spots within 70 seconds. The top three scorers from the first round advance to the championship, where the highest score wins.
