The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released the latest high school softball rankings. This week, four of the five No. 1 rated teams remained the same.
The lone exception came in Class 1A, as Wayne replaced Clarksville at the top spot. The other No. 1 ranked teams include Waukee Northwest (5A), Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Dubuque Wahlert (3A) and Van Meter (2A).
Newcomers to the rankings include Des Moines Roosevelt in 5A, Atlantic in 3A, Beckman Catholic in 2A and Murray and Seymour in 1A. Beckman moved all the way from outside the Top 15 to seventh.
