The Charlotte Hornets will look to get back in the win column, playing the Milwaukee Bucks for the second time in the past three games to begin the new year.

The day before the two teams square off, the Hornets provided new updates to multiple players on the injury report.

Hornets list Miles Bridges (ankle) as probable, Moussa Diabate (wrist) as questionable for Jan. 2 vs. Bucks

In the latest issue of injury reports, the Charlotte Hornets listed Miles Bridges (ankle) as probable, Moussa Diabate (wrist) as questionable.

Meanwhile, Mason Plumlee (groin), Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow), and Grant Williams (knee) will all miss the Hornets' matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The most eye-opening news is on Miles Bridges. The 27-year-old suffered a right ankle sprain in the Hornets' and Bucks' most recent matchup on Dec. 29. After missing one game, Bridges is trending in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Diabate is on the verge of missing his third game of the season after picking up a left wrist sprain.

As for the Bucks, they will be without Taurean Prince, who underwent neck surgery that will likely keep him out for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
